WHAT'S UP

Not a lot, still pretty busy at work as the girl down front has gone away for a week so I have to do her work as well as mine.

The warmer weather is back with us once again - love it, love it love it! The sunshine puts a smile on my face I have more motivation to do things.

This weekend is race weekend, I am working this weekend, so no having a bit of flutter on the horses - oh well think of the money I am saving (the more I save - New York, New York here I come).

Our netball grandfinal is on Sunday and we are playing Leinster here so hopefully it will be a close game as they normally thrash us.

I am a little disappointed about my other blogs mates as they seemed to have died off from blogging, one got me started on blogging and she has not blogged for ages
........................................
Since writing the above:
  • Brownyn has returned to work - yeah now I can concentrate on my own work.
  • We won the netball, beat Leinster by 1 goal - I play Goal Shooter and I was definitely did not shoot well that day, we all play as a team, hey we won and that's all that matters on the day. After the game we went over to the hotel and had a few drinks then Leinster wanted a sculling competition, so I put my hand up to that (1/2 my drinks ended down my top!) Leinster women are the better drinkers that us for sure.
  • Katie Ritchie who plays Sally from Home and Away has announced today she is leaving the show after 20 years, which was her own choice but if I had to get rid of any of them it would be Brad (dork) Rachel (boring) and Cassie (well she just give me the shits) I know its only a TV show!
  • Still disappointed the other bloggers still have not blogged, waiting, waiting................

BACK TO NORMALITY

Eat, sleep and work continuous - that's what it feels like I have been doing for the past month or so but slowly and surely the work load is easing and by this weekend should have my life back!

I have fallen behind in my exercise, my house cleaning, my reading, my relaxing etc. My car is absolutely dirty (red dust) on the outside, did offer for someone to wash my car for $25.00 (not mentioning any names ANDREA!!), I always do it myself but haven't had much time (which I thought is a pretty darn good price) but no wanted $30.00 and I did not budge and I was standing firm on $25.00 anyway I will just have to do it when I get back from Kalgoorlie (even the car wash in Kalgoorlie has closed down). Looking forward to Sunday which I hope I don't have to go into work and enjoy the whole day off, I say I would love to sleep in but I know I won't as I want to enjoy the whole day- yee hah.

PS: Looking forward to getting my gob (really lady I am!!) around a Hungry Jacks Whooper when I'm in Kal .

....................................................

I purchased the new Australian version of Monopoly which I received the other day, it just does not look right - because of the Australian towns and cities on them and the money is different as with the rules too. I am so use to playing the pommy Monopoly. I will have to start playing the Australian version to get use to it - anyone up for a game?

SENIOR 1st AID

Saturday gone we headed off to Menzies for the day to do our Senior 1st Aid, (thank god it was a one day course not a two day one ). We all past with flying colours. The course was great especially when you have a trainer like we did (Megan) who did a fantastic job in training us.

Bev still in pain after I applied a splint and sling to her fractured wrist - Sooky la la!
