A LOVELY SURPRISE

I received a lovely belated gift basket for my birthday today, consisted of champagne (yum) chocolates (yum), flowers and an array of body stuff - thanks Tiff & Ben, love it.

When it arrived via courier at the office this morning, Shawnaye came running up to me real excited for me - me thinking oh my god - I have an secret admirer - no harm in wishing!!!

PALMOLIVE UPDATE:
Karen come to pick Palmolive up on Friday just gone. I was cat sitting for a week. Don't get me wrong I am a cat person but after having Palmolive for a week, she certainly kept me on my toes, I am so use to being on my own and not having anyone else around.

Did I enjoy having the company of Palmolive? Well yes especially at night time where she would cuddle up to me in bed and upon waking in the mornings she would be sitting on my pillow staring at me - waiting for me to wake up and play! Palmolive enjoys the outdoors and when she is outside that is when I can get stuff done in my house.

I know she is just a kitten and all she wanted to do was play when I got home from work and all I wanted to do was relax but no I would end up playing ball with her. I borrowed a scratching pole for her and showed her what she has to do but she had no interest in it what-so-ever , she had ruined my shower curtain and bed wrap and sometimes she would just go spastic and run flat out through the house, up my bedroom curtains, I tell her no but she just didn't listen and would continue going spastic until I had to lock her out from my bedroom. Where ever I moved in the house she would be one step behind me. I know she's only a cat but it was like looking after a child, I give credit to people who had lots of children to look after like my mother did and never a complaint, how they managed amazes me and I am having trouble looking after a kitten!

Again I will be looking after Palmolive when Karen goes babysitting Andreas dogs for a few weeks, while Andrea and Wayne go skiing in Canada (some people have the right life!), so Palmolive be on your best behaviour.
