1. Bend your knees upward & flatten your feet on the bed. Roll onto your side closest to the edge of the bed, keeping your knees together.
2. Using your arms, push up the top half of your body until it's upright, then slowly swing your legs to the floor. Stay there for a moment.
3. Lean forward. Use your legs and arms to push yourself up to stand.
My Way of Getting Out of Bed:
1. Slowly roll my sluggish body out of bed, moaning "I don't want to get out of bed" or
2. When alarm clock goes off & you say to yourself another five minutes, then realising an hour has past, using your whole body, jump straight out of bed & start running around like a mad woman screaming, "I'm going t be late for work".
I prefer my way as the correct way sounds like too much effort!
